Staying at Elephant House was a delightful experience. The lush gardens provided a serene atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. I loved our large, spacious room with a comfy bed and a lovely terrace. The three pools offered great options for unwinding, although I noticed that one of them appeared a bit murky. Breakfast was delicious, especially the freshly made ciabatta with mushrooms and cheese. it truly stood out. the breakfast service could use a little speed improvement as it was a bit slow on a couple of occasions. I felt well taken care of by the staff, but my bathroom could have seen better cleanliness with toiletries not being topped up. those minor issues, I genuinely enjoyed my time and appreciated the charming ambiance.

beautiful gardens, large verandahs, spacious family cottage
The bathroom could use better attention to cleanliness, especially with toiletries not being topped up!!! It would also be beneficial to maintain the pools better, as one appeared somewhat cloudy. More attention to shower safety features would be appreciated!!!

the large bathroom was great, but who thought it was ok to have no door at all? and breakfast service could woudl ve been faster, but alas it was more of a leisurely affair. I expected a complimentary drink or something, but no, not even a wink from the staff, I just couldn’t believe it.

Had a splendid time! The room was spacious, and I adored the two lovely pools. Plus, a grocery store was just a five-minute drive away—perfect for my snack cravings!
The gravel road nearby threatened noisy trucks, but surprisingly, it didn’t ruin my zen moments — just a reminder that Mother Nature has a quirky sense of humor. I also wish they had dinner options. I can only eat so many snacks!
